SCARED
I was honored in 2022 with an invitation by the organizers of NARD (National Animal Rights Day) to recite one of my poems at the memorial service portion of the event that took place on June 5th in Beverly Hills, CA.
The poem I recited is called SCARED. It's about a scared little pig on her way to slaughter.
The NARD organizers were kind enough to video me and then send me the link to the video. As you will notice, I got emotional as I started reading the poem. You see, I had never been around pigs before that day. As I walked to the microphone, I was shocked and saddened to see what beautiful animals they were, even as they lay there, devoid of life, in the loving arms of the NARD volunteers.
Here's the link.

Maybe we can meet up at next year's event. It will be an experience that you'll never forget.
