DARK, INVISIBLE FORCE​

I hate to be a pest, but I’d like to put you to the test and ask you why we eat the animals we choose to ingest. We do it ‘round the world, north and east, south, and west. It’s a straight-up evil system. Call it messed up, at best.

​

So now it’s time to ask, “Why's a nice kid like you, eating sliced-up baby animals we toss in a stew?” It’s a story hard to hear, but don’t you fear, I’ll make it clear. So let’s just get right to the truth and we will tackle it here.

​

It started with such loving words from dad and your mother. “Be kind to precious animals and do unto others just as you would have others do unto you. But now it’s time to eat, my dear. I’ve made your favorite, LAMB stew!”

​

And there’s the contradiction. It’s not fiction. It’s so true that a lie was fed to you so you could do what you do. Love the cat and the dog but kill the lamb, fish, or chick. That Invisible Force has kept us in the dark and therein lies the trick.

​

They tricked us into calling little piglets, bacon. Hell, we call a cow a hot dog or a burger and steak, and they disconnected us from the truth at the start. Now we’re stuck with all this illness and disease of the heart.

​

For that cow's milk you pour in your coffee, for some yogurt or cheese or butter ... we steal innocent and beautiful newborn calves from their traumatized and heartbroken mother. Why? Because we were conditioned not to respect farmed animals' lives, so it's easy just to treat them as “the other.”

​

We also rob them of their birthright to bond and be together!  And for what? - a pair of new shoes or a belt made from leather?

​

And yes, we brutalize these babies! They deserve a better fate than when we gas them or behead them, and did you know that in the egg industry, male baby chicks are still ALIVE when we shred them?!  Think of the violence that ends up on your plate.

​

Then we see and eat what we call “meat” without a second thought about a system we bought into, one that’s terribly fraught with such corruption and disruption to our very inner core that craves compassion and respect, the need for justice and more.

​

Our government is shrewd promoting high-risk food. They get their pockets lined with cash and it is we who get screwed ‘cause Animal Farms and Big Pharma have had a hand in the game and they’re destroying your future but won’t take the blame.

​

Yet we don’t want to hear it. We steer clear of it and fear it, knowing it requires us to make some changes (OH NO!), so we don’t want to go near it!

​

Yet the time has come to stand up to that force and make a fuss, but ‘cause we support the system now, it turns out (sadly), that DARK, INVISIBLE FORCE … is us!!
